Groomsman Boxes!

Finally, each groomsman has received their box, so now I can show you what Jacob and I made for them!

When I get an idea engraved in my brain, it's pretty hard for me to change my mind.  Thankfully, most ideas I have,  including this one, Jacob is 100% on board.  Lucky me!

When it came to Jacob asking his groomsmen to be in the wedding, I knew that I wanted to keep on the same path that my bridesmaid boxes were on, but with a more masculine vibe, obviously.  We purchased the boxes from Michaels, along with wooden black initials, then headed to The Home Depot for primer and a good stain. Want to guess the name of the stain Jacob picked out?
 Jacobian.  So typical.
Once we got home, we set up shop on our little patio, then Jacob got to work!  It's a good thing we did this outside, because this stain smelled terribly.

We let those dry overnight, re-attached all of the hinges and clasps, then glued each groomsman's initial to the top of their box, for a personal touch.

Looking good so far!

Here is a list of the contents inside:

Mini alcohol bottles- BevMo
Individual super hero buttons- Online Shop
Will you be my groomsman? RSVPs- Online PDF
Shot Glasses- BevMo
Mustache Mints- Party City
Crinkle Paper- Hobby Lobby

Each alcohol bottle given, Jacob personally picked for every specific groomsman, along with the buttons, which will be the super hero that is attached to them from now until the wedding night.

All finished!

I hope you enjoyed this quick post about Jacob's boxes.  We both loved the way they turned out, and they were a hit with the guys!
